Well in Drgain Ball A-Z for example, Ca-Yin was released due to the Super Genki Dama creating that giant crevice and cracking his tomb open. In my story there wasn't any Super Genki Dama, just a beam struggle; Buu was in the air when he lost it, so there wasn't a crater formed due to Buu's death. So Ca-Yin wasn't released, and he's still in the tomb....forever.

I had Old Kai talk about the Kaioken like he already knew about the technique. This was another reference to DBAZ where the Kaioken was created eons ago and not by King Kai so it makes sense that he'd already heard of it.

Well, since it was created from that, you could say that in this Universe, a little bit more power in the Genki Dama caused it to crack;Something like this:However, in this Universe, by a tiny fraction of more power, the mighty Sozoshin, Ca-Yin, was awoken from his slumber, determined to have revenge on those who awoke him by their foolish actions etc. or something along those lines. Thoughts?

If you want Apope, I could type a very complicated reason why ca-yin may or may not exist in all of our stories, even though they will be linked in the tournament.

Also, if you need an explanation for why Ca-Yin doesn't appear in other stories, maybe A-Z's 'divergence' is simply the fact that Ca-Yin exists.

Yeah, Buu, I agree. I've been experiencing that same thing--glad to know I'm not alone.

We don't need an explanation for why Birusu or Wiss don't appear though, right? I mean... They've only just really recently were added to "canon" although they may or may not appear in some of our stories, it makes sense that our reasons are just simply "This was planned before Battle of the Gods was revealed". Any thoughts? Maybe we've talked about this before but I don't remember XD.

I think we can regard Battle of the Gods as semi-canon. Optional canon. Take it or leave it. Much like GT, the other movies, anime filler, etc.

Well, it'd be better if everyone of you included it, but ok, well, maybe. Even if it's stupid, I'm sure everyone'd reason XP

I don't think it'd fit in my story really. Plus I'd have to wait a few months at least before I can actually see it then write a chapter since I'm at that point right now...

Aside from actually happening earlier than it originally did, Vegeta's quest for another Saiyan(Tarble?Or maybe even Mirai Trunks)to become a SSjG, his personal satisfaction about actually doing so and, well,his thoughts about saving the Earth'd be good Plot Elements too. Thoughts?

Eh, I guess so but (SPOILER) I have different plans for Tarble in my story.

I have a simple answer to Bills and Whis. Something that was said in the movie itself. Every universe has its own god of destruction. Meaning, Bills and Whis wont be in my story.

The movie also said there were only 12 universes. We're kind of defying BotG canon simply by having more than that, so there's no reason to feel like you have to acknowledge it in other ways.

Well we did agree that this was optional canon. We can modify stuff or pull stuff from it for our fics if we plan on using them.

I think it's more like "Dimensions" in the same "World", and not seperate "Universes" themselves.

Nope, nope, nope. No GT and no BoG for me. Of course, I do use some of the movies in Piccolo's Choice, but then I also leave some out. Kinda confusing, but I figure I'd rather just add the movies that I like rather than try to fit something in which I had no real interest in.

No BoG for me, but I will touch on GT a lil.

As for me:

- I will, most likely, be including elements of GT. Will it be GT? No. It'll be more like what Tiencha did in BTtL, except obviously different. If you know me, you probably know which villain I'm going to be including. 

- I don't know if I'm going to include Battle of the Gods in SotF. Guardian will have it, but since it's not in DBM2 that's not a concern... oh, and that reminds me: I can confirm that Original/Kakarotto and I will be writing BoG for The Saiyan's Cascade.
