Fan questions about DBM2

What about your new Story(And why exactly've you blocked me?)? Oh, and GT for TSC?

1: I don't remember blocking you, nor would I even do so.

2: I don't know about a GT for TSC. Probably not, to be honest.

1) Sorry about that. I legitimately didn't know that even happened in the first place.

2) Kakarotto and I are extremely busy people; in fact, as of late, I've grown even busier. It's going to take us a loooooooooooong while to even finish the Z arc, much less even consider GT. 

3) Has it occurred to you I may want to keep that under wraps? That's not exactly a "canon-adhering timeline" fic.

I'm not going to be on fanfiction forever, Apope, nor is Kakarotto. While we have fun writing TSC, it's not going to be something that continues to carry on for a while. It took us 5 months to get three chapters published and the 4th about 1/5th done. I couldn't even imagine how long this fic would be ongoing if we were to go into GT.

It's fine. I just really can't spoil everything I have in store for it.

So...how exactly did you guys decide on which fics to include?

At first it was just a suggestion involving a few fics, then the planning spread out to involve a few more authors, who sort of coalesced into the first set of participants when this site came into existence.

Then, there were several slots left, so we came up with a list of stories we'd each like to see involved, voted to narrow it down so we had 20 universes total, and contacted those with the most votes, several of whom are now regular posters, and all 20 universes' authors have expressed their interest in the project when it eventually happens.

Ok, I want to start off by saying that you guys are probably the single most amazing group of people to ever come into being on this planet, and the fact that you continue writing these stories somewhat restores my hope for this seemingly doomed planet. Anyway, with the obligatory ass-kissing out of the way, i'll move onto my questions. First off, is the story you guys are going to be writing taking the form of a fanfiction or a comic-like thing, as the original DB Multiverse did? Secondly, roughly how far through their stories are the characters going to be when you drag them into the multiverse? Will they be where they are currently? Or will they have already completed their journey? Anyway, if you guys could answer those for that would be fan-freakin'-tastic.

P.S: I know of a channel on youtube called Animationmaniac who has already created a short clip based on Bringer of Death, so if you want me to send you guys the link, let me know.

This collaboration is going to be written as a fanfiction by most to all of our authors and be uploaded on a group account, Nomorification. A comic would be truly awesome, but there's no way we'd be able to pull that off, haha. 

Due to this tournament being held at the same time as DBM, our characters will be as strong as they are during that time period(aka, 10 years after Buu).

Apope, it takes place at the same point in time that DBM does. Trust an author on that one.

Yup, it is not in the same continuity as DBM and occurs instead of it, if you will. Therefore, DBM time.

Hold on, weren't some universes going to join at different times due to being set at different times? (e.g. AZ, maybe Majin Legacy) In which case, and this is probably a question for a different thread, but can U16/BTtL come in 20 years after Buu (i.e. GT's supposed time period, though one source has it five years earlier than that)? 'Cause that's when it'll be done.

To be honest, Tiencha, I personally believe that's a thing for another topic XD. I'll be happy to continue the conversation there though!

Actually, there's no need--DBM takes place 20 years after Buu anyway, doesn't it? (Uub's had all that training with Goku, who he had only just met 10 years after Buu...)

Well, depending on the source, GT is 15 or 20 years after Z. 20 is I think the more accurate number.

DBM is 20 years after.

Oh, so DBM2 is 25 years after, or...

20, I think. Honestly, it doesn't really matter does it? Can't we just "pull" the characters into the tournament from any time period?
